Men's brown corduroy trousers, in a fatigue cut
These men's brown corduroy trousers take the construction of our fatigue trousers, themselves taken from the US Army OG-107 uniform trouser: large patch front pockets with an angled opening, buttoned back pockets, tabs at the sides. The back pockets keep the original measurements, 17 × 14 cm, and close with a buttoned flap, as on the uniform. The button placket is remade identically; it adjusts the waist and lets you slip between two sizes without a belt. Only the material changes: a corduroy in place of the cotton sateen.

Cut and sizing
Carrot cut: volume at the thighs, then a leg that narrows to the ankle, without the fullness of combat wear; it is worn as well over a dress shoe as over a boot. The model runs large: take one size below your usual size. From 28 to 36; the size guide helps you decide.
How to wear men's brown corduroy trousers
In total corduroy, with the corduroy overshirt: two cords, one material. With a forest green sweater, the classic country wardrobe match. With a chambray shirt or a henley when the weather softens. They also come in navy.

A Velcorex corduroy, woven in France
The cord comes from Velcorex, a French house that has worked with textiles for two centuries, and it is woven and dyed in France. It is a wide-wale corduroy, called cable cord, of 370 g/m²: the fewer the wales, the thicker the cord, and that relief suits a trouser. Wide wales go to bottoms, fine wales to shirts. An enzyme wash softens it before sale, so it arrives soft and already a little lived-in. Brown, the colour of earth and dead leaves, gives it its country air.

Brown corduroy is the colour of autumn par excellence, warm and easy. Paired with a military cut, it escapes the image of grandfather's trousers. It is the trouser you bring out with the first dead leaves, and put away with regret in spring.
Reinforcements for walking and cycling
All the pockets are held by bar tacks, where they usually tear; at the front, the large patch pockets open at an angle, and the hands enter without searching. The assembly is done in tone-on-tone double topstitching. The crotch is lined with an Italian herringbone that protects it from rubbing: cyclists and motorcyclists notice it quickly. The trousers are made in Morocco.
