The men's black leather belt, with a double prong
Two prongs instead of one: that is what sets this men's black leather belt apart at first glance. The police-style double-prong buckle locks firmly and spreads the strain over two holes. It is worn on jeans as on dressier trousers, and it is the matte black of the leather, without shine, that lets it pass from one to the other.

Cut and sizing
Six sizes, from 85 to 110. Measure your waist at the level of the belt loops, trousers on, and refer to the size chart. With two prongs, the fit is set hole by hole; the thick leather is a little firm at first, then takes the shape of the waist.
How to wear a men's black leather belt
On raw Japanese jeans, as in our photos: black and indigo make the sharpest contrast. With black cargo trousers, in total black. With grey wool trousers and black shoes, it is enough to dress the outfit.

A vegetable-tanned cowhide
The leather is 4 mm thick and 43 mm wide. It is vegetable-tanned, the oldest method of making a hide rot-proof and supple, today outnumbered by faster chrome tanning. It keeps a dense, slightly organic hand that holds itself without excessive stiffness and patinates with wear: at the folds of the buckle and the belt loops, the black gains depth.

Matte black goes from jeans to dress trousers without ever being too much. The double buckle is noticed just enough. It is the belt that gives hold to a simple outfit.
Hand topstitching, hot stamping
The stitches that hold the buckle are made by hand, in saddle stitch with ecru thread: a discreet contrast on the black, visible up close. The edge of the leather is carefully finished. Inside, a gold hot-stamped mark signs the belt. It is made in Morocco.
