The liner jacket, cut from a poncho liner
Rather than have a new cloth woven, we preferred to buy, at a slightly higher price, an uncommon material that already existed: the last stocks of genuine US Army poncho liners, in olive drab green. Now impossible to find, this material becomes our men's liner jacket, with all the symbolism that carries. It will keep you warm in the first cool days of mid-season.

Cut and sizing
Straight cut, with no tailoring, to fit every build: take your usual size. From S to XL, half chest runs from 53 to 59 cm (20.9 to 23.2 in), front length from 71.5 to 74.5 cm (28.1 to 29.3 in), sleeve from 63 to 66 cm (24.8 to 26 in) and shoulder to shoulder from 47.5 to 50.5 cm (18.7 to 19.9 in).
How to wear a liner jacket
Care
Machine washable at home, dry cleaning is not recommended: 30 °C (86 °F), delicate cycle, mild liquid detergent with no bleaching agent. Never use fabric softener. No tumble dryer: air dry in the shade. Do not iron the nylon directly.
A ripstop, a wadding
Ripstop nylon is reinforced by interweaving a reinforcing thread at regular intervals, which gives that fine, light grid look. This mesh stops a tear from spreading. For these reasons the US Army chose it for its poncho liners, sleeping bags and blankets. The polyester wadding fill makes it very light while protecting from wind, cold and drizzle.

The soldiers' blanket turned jacket: it is a story you wear on your back. Light enough to be forgotten, warm from the first cool days, it exists only as long as poncho liners remain. After that, it's over.
Two pockets, four buttons, Indochina eyelets
On the front, two 15 × 17.5 cm pockets that swallow a wallet, a phone or simply your hands. The jacket closes with four corozo buttons, a vegetable ivory marbled in chocolate, sewn with persimmon-orange thread. The buttonholes are made tone on tone on the famous Reece machine, using French army thread dating from the Indochina war.
The inside is as good as the outside
An ecru cotton bias binding covers all the inner seams: the finish is so clean you could wear it inside out. The top of the back has a shoulder-blade yoke of sixties inspiration, drawn for each piece. The sewn label is in tear-proof paper, made in the US Army workshops; we write the number of your piece on it, in a series limited to fifty. Making is entirely French, in our Toulouse workshop.

Our clothes are made from exceptional materials (Japanese selvedge denim, French wool from Tournier…) and assembled on vintage machines.
Every piece is designed to last, evolve and patinate over time. The fabrics are developed to our own specifications: we imagine our own weaves, then have them woven in the best mills in the world (Japan, France, Italy, Portugal, Morocco), often on old looms. This process can take up to a year to produce a new cloth.

Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping costs are automatically calculated when you place your order. Delivery is free in France and Belgium for orders over €150, in Europe for orders over €300, and worldwide for orders over €400.
