The men's T-shirt pack: three base colours
White, navy, khaki: three colours are enough to build a working and everyday wardrobe. White goes under everything, navy calms an outfit, khaki warms it. This T-shirt pack brings the three together, in the same knit and the same cut, so you don't have to think in the morning. The T-shirts arrive folded in an ecru cotton pouch with a navy drawstring, which you can use later for storage or travel.

Cut and sizing
Slightly fitted cut, not clinging, with a shape that follows the torso and about 10 cm (4 in) of ease around the chest. From XS to 3XL. Take your usual size; the size chart and the size guide help you decide.
How to wear these T-shirts
The white under an open khaki jungle jacket. The navy with brown corduroy trousers. The khaki with raw selvedge jeans. Each is worn on its own, under an open shirt or under a work jacket.
Care
Machine washable at home: 30 °C (86 °F) inside out, short cycle, mild detergent with no bleaching agent, and separately the first few times, because dyed cotton bleeds slightly. No tumble dryer and no fabric softener. Air dry in the shade; iron at medium heat, on the reverse.
From a sailor's undershirt to a piece in its own right
The T-shirt starts under the uniform. In 1913, the US Navy issued its sailors a cotton undershirt with a round neck and short sleeves; on chores or in the tropics, they took off their jumper and worked in the T-shirt. After the Second World War, veterans wore it on its own. Its cloth, jersey, takes its name from the island of Jersey, where fishermen's underwear was knitted.

A 2.5 cm ribbed collar
The collar is finished with a 2.5 cm rib binding: the rib sits over the jersey and forms a triple thickness, topstitched with a double needle in a close cover stitch. It stays nicely rounded and does not stretch out in the wash. At the sleeves the stitch is more open, to let the knit follow the arm. The shoulders are reinforced with a solid seam.
A 240 g/m² knit, four-thread overlocked
The 100% cotton jersey, in 1×1 rib, weighs 240 g/m²: thick enough to be opaque without losing breathability. An anti-pilling treatment helps the surface stay clean. At the top of the back, a flat-seam shoulder-blade yoke prevents irritation. All the seams are four-thread overlocked with a chain stitch, so they do not twist. The T-shirts are circular-knitted in Portugal and pre-washed before sale.
