Description
Dyed with natural indigo in Japan, this fabric has a deep and powerful color, known as "Japan Blue". Initially vibrant, we have patinated it to obtain an ultra chic vintage look in version V2.
We wanted to reproduce the effect of a vintage shirt without damaging the material. To do this, we tested several formulas, which delayed the proposal of our shirt. It underwent a battery of rigorous tests, including the analysis of the behavior of the fabric after several washes. This meticulous process guarantees exceptional quality and optimal durability, while maintaining the desired aesthetic.
This color comes from an “Aizome” dye made from plants called indigo.
The interlacing between the indigo warp threads and the ecru weft threads creates this remarkable irregular blue hue. We have treated this shirt to obtain the effect of a worn shirt with a patina effect. The fabric becomes more delicate, this is normal, so to prolong the life of your shirt, wash it by hand, and opt for a size larger than usual.
Union Special Made
Our Chambray Work Shirt is made with Grade A fabric, renowned for its high quality. It is assembled with vintage machines such as the Union Special 37800 1/4, thus preserving the vintage look and authenticity of the stitching and finishing. We have washed this beautiful shirt to give it an authentic vintage look.
The chambray work shirt features two rounded chest pockets, double-needle stitched. These pockets are reinforced at the opening with bartack stitches. We have added indigo blue cat's eye buttons, so you can take your pen holder with you everywhere.

To meet growing demand, some manufacturing steps can be delegated, but the design and finishing touches always remain French. Origin of fabrics by country: France, Japan, Italy, Portugal.
