Born from the need for warmth for winter work or sea outings, this lamb's wool piece from the first Italian shearing follows a simple logic: to envelop without hindering, with a density that traps air while breathing. Initially a tool for rural workers and sailors, it slipped into civilian wardrobes as a basic, reliable sweater worn under a jacket or alone.

The fully fashioned knit, crafted in Morocco, precisely assembles the pieces for a clean and stable seam, without distortion when worn. The 1x1 rib forms a round and fitted neck, flexible when stretched, while the integrated ribbed cuffs maintain the line without stiffness. The fine, naturally lanolined wool offers a soft hand and hygroscopic warmth that adapts to humidity variations.

What is the quality of Champ de Manœuvres products?

Our clothes are made from exceptional materials—Japanese selvedge denim, French wool from Tournier, etc.—and assembled in our workshop in Toulouse on traditional machines.

Each piece is designed to last, evolve, and develop a patina over time. The fabrics are custom-developed: we design our own wefts, then have them woven in the world's best factories (Japan, France, Italy, Portugal, Morocco), often on antique looms. This process can take up to a year to create a new fabric.

It is this level of requirement that makes Champ de Manoeuvres unique and of high quality.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping costs are automatically calculated when you place your order. Delivery is free in France and Belgium for orders over €150, in Europe for orders over €300, and worldwide for orders over €400.

What are the delivery times?

Delivery times vary depending on the destination: 2 to 5 business days in France, 2 to 8 days in Europe, and up to 16 days for the rest of the world. You will receive a tracking link as soon as the order is shipped.

Can I return or exchange an item if the size doesn't fit?

Of course! Returns and exchanges are free in France and Belgium for all orders over €150. You have 14 days to try on your items at home and return them if necessary.
