An Ode to Timeless Style
The precise origin of the Officer Chino dates back to American military uniforms, where priority was given to functionality and comfort. Over the years, this style of pants has transcended the military realm to become a timeless classic, appreciated for its versatility and aesthetic. Thus, the Officer Chino draws its roots from the military uniform while evolving to become a distinctive element of casual fashion.
Neo Vintage
The Chino Officer Trousers authentically reinterpret military chic, drawing inspiration from cinematic icons such as Robert Redford or James Dean. Designed for lovers of stylish pieces looking for a modern alternative to period authenticity, these pants evoke the original aesthetic of American military uniforms of yesteryear, while adopting a contemporary fit that immediately stands out. If you are looking for absolute authenticity, thrift stores remain the best place to find a model that suits you.

We opted for an Italian gabardine, also called drill. This fabric, also known as double-ply gabardine, weighs 375 g/m², 100% cotton, and was woven in Italy especially for us. The satin weave emerged somewhat by chance, thanks to the exceptionally strong mercerized fibers. The result: a luxurious weft appearance and foolproof solidity. The only fault that we can criticize with this material is that it tends to crease quickly during movements, but this gives it absolute charm.
Our color palette consists of three shades that define our style: camel (identical to the second original version of these pants), navy, elegant as can be, and OG khaki. For the green, we opted for an enzymatic dye, offering a pronounced vintage effect which will evolve with each wash, creating a unique and personalized patina. The camel and navy versions are reactively tinted, thus preserving the color as much as possible and ensuring a consistent shade over time.
The devil knows his details
Often, the most fragile part of chinos is the side, generally overcast without topstitching to reinforce the whole. This makes the pants vulnerable and easy to tear during movements. To remedy this problem, we added two chain stitch seams to permanently reinforce these pants. This finish requires mastered know-how. The original model's pockets are a must-have for these pants, secured with bartacks on each side. The two rear pockets are functional, ideal for slipping a wallet or any small object. The pocket or watch pocket, as in the old days, is functional and can hold coins or a pick. Every detail is carefully thought out, in the style characteristic of our commitment to quality and a job well done.
Maintenance mode and size choice:
Machine wash at 40°C: fabric inside out, spin dry (with similar colors). These chinos have already been washed, dried and are ready to wear straight out. You can go.
Iron on reverse at cotton temperature.
Our model wears size 32 pants and is 1.82 m tall. For a more comfortable and loose fit, opt for a size larger than usual.

Our measurement table
"Please measure half of the chest circumference from edge to edge. Additionally, front length is the distance from the shoulder point to the bottom of the garment. For sleeve length, measure the longest distance long at the middle of the sleeve. For pants, take the half-waistband measurement from edge to edge, making sure both ends of the waistband overlap. Half-thigh width is the longest measurement at the crotch seam. Measure the half height of the hem (edge to edge) lying flat."
