Blue sailor sweater

Born into the maritime world, the marinière met concrete demands: protecting against the wind, retaining warmth even in a damp environment, and providing clear visibility on board. Adopted first by sailors and then by civilian wardrobes, it established itself through its functional simplicity and clear design.

Here, it is knitted from virgin lamb's wool, a naturally insulating, flexible, and resistant fiber. The knit has a consistent density, with a soft yet structured handfeel, which traps air without becoming heavy. The double-layered collar and cuffs reinforce exposed areas, limiting deformation and improving resistance to cold. The finishes are precise, with a clean assembly that stabilizes the garment over time.

The fit remains snug without being restrictive, with a clean drape that follows movement. Worn alone or layered, it maintains this logic of use: protecting, lasting, and remaining clear in design.

What is the quality of Champ de Manœuvres products?

Our clothes are made from exceptional materials—Japanese selvedge denim, French wool from Tournier, etc.—and assembled in our workshop in Toulouse on traditional machines.

Each piece is designed to last, evolve, and develop a patina over time. The fabrics are custom-developed: we design our own wefts, then have them woven in the world's best factories (Japan, France, Italy, Portugal, Morocco), often on antique looms. This process can take up to a year to create a new fabric.

It is this level of requirement that makes Champ de Manoeuvres unique and of high quality.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping costs are automatically calculated when you place your order. Delivery is free in France and Belgium for orders over €150, in Europe for orders over €300, and worldwide for orders over €400.

What are the delivery times?

Delivery times vary depending on the destination: 2 to 5 business days in France, 2 to 8 days in Europe, and up to 16 days for the rest of the world. You will receive a tracking link as soon as the order is shipped.

Can I return or exchange an item if the size doesn't fit?

Of course! Returns and exchanges are free in France and Belgium for all orders over €150. You have 14 days to try on your items at home and return them if necessary.
