In khaki, cargo trousers remain a military quotation. In navy, they become trousers again, simply. These men's navy cargo trousers nonetheless keep the architecture of the Battle Dress Uniform, the American combat uniform from the early 1980s: gusseted thigh pockets, buttoned flaps, a drawcord at the hem. Only the colour changes, and it is enough to bring them into a civilian wardrobe, from the weekend to the casual office.

Cut and sizing
The original cargo was straight, loose and bloused, because it was worn tucked into high boots; over a low shoe, that cut weighs down the leg. Ours stays wide at the top of the thigh, then tapers clearly toward the ankle. The dense cloth does not stretch in wear: if in doubt, the size guide helps you decide. From 28 to 38.
How to wear men's navy cargo trousers
In place of a chino, with an oxford shirt and leather shoes: they pass where you would not expect a cargo. With khaki on top, the OG-107 overshirt for example: the contrast avoids the full-uniform effect. Turned up over sneakers, a short cuff frees the ankle. They also come in khaki and black.
Care

The flat-felled seams of field clothing
A cargo trouser is made for harsh environments: it is sewn with flat-felled seams, the strongest, because it has to bend at the knee and hip all day. We kept this construction on the crotch and the pockets. The two side pockets are gusseted: they gain volume when filled and stay flat when empty.

All the pockets of a cargo, without looking like it came from a surplus store. It is worn with a shirt and derbies at the office, with a sweatshirt at the weekend. It is the alternative to the chino for those who need pockets.
A 296 g/m² washed canvas
The cloth is a very tight canvas of 296 g/m², woven from 96% cotton and 4% wool, which adds a little warmth in winter. It is treated to be water-repellent, enough for a shower. An ozone stone wash slightly fades the navy and softens the cloth: the trousers arrive with the look of a piece already worn, without the stiffness of new. They are made in Morocco.
Buttons you don't see
On a dark colour, the slightest visible detail catches the eye. The corozo buttons of the pockets are therefore entirely hidden under the flap, thanks to a finish we developed: opening stays easy, and the line of the thigh is never interrupted. At the back, flap pockets and waist adjustment straps complete the set. One detail hides under the hem; you discover it by turning the cuff up.
