Deep reds (burgundy, garnet, brick) are the colours of colleges and clubs. Straight cut, that wraps without squeezing. Depending on size, from S to XL, the chest runs from about 52 to 62 cm (20.5 to 24.4 in) flat. Take your usual size. The size guide helps you decide.
How to wear a men's burgundy sweater
With grey: grey wool trousers, and burgundy becomes almost sober. With Japanese jeans: dark red and indigo make a frank contrast. Under a khaki OG 107 overshirt: burgundy warms the jacket and keeps the outfit from turning military.

Machine washable at home: hand wash cold, or wool cycle at 30 °C (86 °F) with a wool detergent, separately the first time, like any dark shade. Press without wringing, roll it in a towel, dry flat, reshaping it. Store folded, away from light.

A wool that takes colour
The wool comes from the lamb's first clip, spun in Italy. This first fibre is the finest and softest: it takes deep dyes particularly well without hardening to the touch, and it is dyed before knitting. The crew neck is set in 1×1 rib in the same material, the cuffs and hem in integrated ribbed edges, and the sleeves in raglan. The sweater is knitted in Morocco in fully fashioned, each piece to its shape.
