The men's ecru T-shirt, a softened white
Ecru is a natural white, less contrasted than optical white. It goes more easily with beige, khaki, brown and denim, and ages without ever looking dull; it also forgives the small marks of daily life more than a bright white. This men's ecru T-shirt is sold in twos, in a shade of our own. At the back, the ribbed binding draws a rounded yoke, clearly visible when laid flat: it is the signature of our T-shirts.

Cut and sizing
Slightly fitted cut, with a shape that follows the torso and about 10 cm (4 in) of ease around the chest. From XS to XXL. Take your usual size, or one size up for a relaxed look. The size chart and the size guide help you decide.
How to wear a men's ecru T-shirt
With a beige chino, as in our photos: a light tonal outfit, effortless. Under an open khaki jungle jacket, the ecru softens the green. With fatigue trousers and white sneakers, in summer. Under an OG-107 overshirt, the ecru answers the olive. There is also a pack in optical white.
Care

A dense, pre-washed jersey
The T-shirt comes from the uniform: in 1913, the US Navy made it a cotton undershirt with a round neck and short sleeves, which veterans would wear on its own after the war. Its cloth, jersey, takes its name from the island of Jersey, where fishermen's underwear was knitted. Ours is a 100% cotton jersey, 1×1 rib, at 240 g/m²: dense, opaque, but breathable. An anti-pilling treatment helps the surface stay smooth. Circular-knitted in Portugal, the T-shirts are pre-washed before sale, for a soft hand and limited shrinkage.

A collar and seams that hold
The collar is finished with a rib binding: the rib sits over the jersey and forms a triple thickness, topstitched with a double needle in a close cover stitch, more open at the sleeves. It stays round and does not stretch. At the top of the back, a flat-seam shoulder-blade yoke prevents irritation and holds the T-shirt on the shoulders. All the seams are four-thread overlocked with a chain stitch, so they do not twist. The two T-shirts arrive in a cotton pouch, reusable for storage.
