Moleskin work jacket: French elegance, tailored for action
Our moleskin work jacket is made from 100% cotton moleskin fabric, 420 grms/m² (approx. 14 oz), made in France . It is a tightly woven cotton canvas, covered with a soft coating imitating the grain of leather and the appearance of shaved velvet . Which makes it both very aesthetic and resistant. It is an ultra-versatile garment designed to accompany you on all your escapades.
Moleskin is to France what denim jeans are to the USA: a sturdy garment initially reserved for workers that gradually conquered the male wardrobe to become a cult item in the male wardrobe .
We have declined it in three timeless colors: olive , sand and here, hydrone blue. Easy-to-wear shades that you can easily match with the rest of your wardrobe.
A fabric as soft as a caress
We have reinterpreted this cult work jacket using only natural, skin-friendly and environmentally friendly materials.
So, we have woven the canvas of this moleskin jacket ourselves , which we then treated with a period patina, thus obtaining a smooth and shiny fabric with a very soft and pleasant feel against the skin .
Wear it with jeans for a casual look or with dressier pants for a vintage and sophisticated look. It fits easily into your wardrobe, no matter your style.
Military sleeves in homage to France
After the war, France swapped military fatigues for blue workwear. To pay tribute to this historic transition, we added a military-inspired sleeve to our Moleskine work jacket, closed with a premium corozo button .

Built to last, we carefully assemble this jacket using a machine with an offset arm, guaranteeing robustness in all circumstances . The sleeves, topstitched with double needles, add extra resistance.
Inside, a clean bias ensures an impeccable finish while offering optimal comfort with every movement. This is the perfect jacket if for you solidity is non-negotiable .
Spacious pockets that will never give way
In homage to our Fernand jacket, symbol of the Trente Glorieuses, we have kept the famous trio of exterior patch pockets , with a 12 × 13 cm chest pocket and two 17 × 17 cm front pockets.
These generously sized pockets can accommodate your personal belongings, tools, and more, without the jacket losing its shape or shape. The fabric stays in place, intact, and the seams don't move a thread. A fourth interior pocket , discreet and practical , is ideal for storing your more personal items safely.

Maintaining the moleskin work jacket
To maintain its robustness and the shine of its patina, wash the moleskin work jacket in cold water or a delicate cycle in the machine. Air dry it, avoid the dryer which could distort the fabric. And if you ever have to iron it, be sure to add a protective fabric between the iron and the jacket to prevent it from burning or being marked.

To meet growing demand, some manufacturing steps can be delegated, but the design and finishing touches always remain French. Origin of fabrics by country: France, Japan, Italy, Portugal. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return unworn and unwashed items within 14 days of receiving your order. Please contact us through our contact page for return instructions.
