M45 Leather Belt

The M45 belt is a reproduction of the French army's 1945 model belt, designed to equip soldiers in the field after World War II. Intended to hold loads and equipment under the tunic, its 4 cm width and robustness met the demands of combat and long marches; adopted for civilian use from army surplus stores, it quickly became an everyday utility accessory.

Made from 4 mm thick vegetable-tanned cowhide leather, selected for its natural suppleness and resistance: the bark tanning leaves a matte surface that absorbs body oils and develops a beautiful patina with folds and wear marks without cracking. The double-pin buckle in zamak – a zinc-aluminum alloy – offers stainless solidity; a rear tunnel to tuck away the excess, with a handcrafted saddle-stitched finish.

Ranging from 80 to 100 cm in length depending on the size (28 to 36), it can be buckled loosely or tightly, fitting the waist without slipping. Available in cognac or natural, it softens with time, highlights the wearer's unique grain, and holds its own under a jacket or a shirt.

What is the quality of Champ de Manœuvres products?

Our clothes are made from exceptional materials—Japanese selvedge denim, French wool from Tournier, etc.—and assembled in our workshop in Toulouse on traditional machines.

Each piece is designed to last, evolve, and develop a patina over time. The fabrics are custom-developed: we design our own wefts, then have them woven in the world's best factories (Japan, France, Italy, Portugal, Morocco), often on antique looms. This process can take up to a year to create a new fabric.

It is this level of requirement that makes Champ de Manoeuvres unique and of high quality.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping costs are automatically calculated when you place your order. Delivery is free in France and Belgium for orders over €150, in Europe for orders over €300, and worldwide for orders over €400.

What are the delivery times?

Delivery times vary depending on the destination: 2 to 5 business days in France, 2 to 8 days in Europe, and up to 16 days for the rest of the world. You will receive a tracking link as soon as the order is shipped.
