The men's suede leather jacket, cut like a work jacket
This men's suede leather jacket comes from the work wardrobe, where the pocket and protection from cold dictate the shape. It keeps the buttoned flap patch pockets on the chest, and a shirt collar that closes to the top thanks to its collar stand. Open, it is worn like an overshirt; closed, it keeps the neck warm. The buttons are corozo, the vegetable ivory, whose brown shade goes with the leather.

Close-fitting cut, with about 6 cm (2.4 in) of ease around the chest: the silhouette is drawn without squeezing, and the fitted sleeves and the buttoned collar stand give stable hold even open. How to wear a men's suede leather jacket
Over a white T-shirt and black cargo trousers, as in our photos. Over raw Japanese jeans, the cognac of the leather and the indigo of the denim answer each other. Over a white oxford shirt or a waffle henley, it replaces a jacket in mid-season; on its own, closed to the collar, it is enough for cool days.

Pockets for the hands, waist adjusters
Two vertical pockets, placed at hip height, serve for storage and to shelter the hands when the temperature drops. At the waist, an adjustment tab sets the drape; at the cuffs, a button closes the sleeve. Inside, two pockets secure the essentials: one zipped, the other buttoned in corozo, both edged in leather, like the rest of the interior finishing.
Patine et durabilité
In three years, this suede leather will have the patina of an old glove.
The Brad comes from the work wardrobe: flap patch pockets, a shirt collar that closes to the top. It is cut from a vegetable-tanned suede lambskin, in a hazelnut made to patinate. Open, it is worn like an overshirt; closed, it keeps the neck warm. Here is how it ages.

A vegetable-tanned suede lambskin
Lambskin is fine and supple; worked to a suede, it takes on a soft, matte surface that catches the light. It is tanned in Morocco by vegetable tanning, the oldest method of making a hide rot-proof and supple, slower than the chrome tanning that dominates today. This leather patinates with wear: the hazelnut colour darkens at the folds and pockets. The 100% viscose lining is matched to the shade of the leather and slides easily over a shirt or a sweater. The jacket is made in Morocco.
