The men's full-grain leather belt, made near Graulhet
This men's full-grain leather belt comes from a family workshop in the south of France, a few kilometres from Graulhet. The town was built around leather: tanning once employed up to a third of the population, and leathergoods developed there after the First World War. Three generations work the material in this workshop, and each belt is made there one at a time.
Cut and sizing
A 4 cm-wide strap, five sizes from 85 to 105. The size corresponds to the distance between the start of the buckle and the central hole. For a good fit, choose a belt 5 cm above your usual waist measurement; the size chart helps you check.
How to wear a men's full-grain leather belt
With raw selvedge jeans as with a gabardine chino: it goes with a work outfit as with a town outfit. Over an open work jacket, the brass buckle is the only metal point of the outfit. It is a piece you buy once, and keep.

A whole leather, chrome-free tanned
The material is an uncorrected full-grain cowhide: the surface of the leather has been neither sanded nor coated, and keeps its original grain. The tanning is done without chrome. The leather is thick and dense; it offers a clean hold from the first wears, then softens gradually and develops a deeper patina, without deforming over the months.

The buckle is double-prong, in solid brass, made in France by a house specialised in metal parts. Its finish is lightly patinated and its 4 cm width stays balanced: it gives character without weighing on the silhouette. The finishing is done by hand: sturdy stitching in thick thread, a keeper in matching leather, clean punched holes, smoothed edges.
