The men's brown leather belt, simple and thick
A buckle, a prong, a band of leather: this men's brown leather belt doesn't look for more. It rests on what counts for a belt worn every day: a 4 mm leather, thick enough to hold without twisting, a 43 mm width that dresses jeans as well as chinos, and a solid buckle. Each piece shows slight variations of shade and texture, proper to the hide.

Cut and sizing
Six sizes, from 85 to 110. Measure your waist at the level of the belt loops of your trousers, trousers on, and choose the matching size in the size chart. The thick leather is a little firm at first, then takes the waist in a few weeks.
How to wear a men's brown leather belt
On raw or washed Japanese jeans, as in our photos: the brown of the leather and the brass answer the indigo and the rivets. With a beige chino and a shirt, it moves into the smart-casual register. With brown leather shoes, the match is immediate.

A vegetable-tanned cowhide
The leather is vegetable-tanned, the oldest method of making a hide rot-proof and supple, today outnumbered by faster chrome tanning. Vegetable leather keeps a dense hand that holds itself without excessive stiffness, and it evolves: its shade darkens, its grain polishes at the contact zones, and the belt takes the curve of the waist. The edges are waxed, and a gold hot-stamped mark signs the inside.

The brass buckle is made in France. Its 4.3 cm opening lets the 4 cm band pass with ease, without forcing the leather. The stitches that fix it are made by hand, in saddle stitch with ecru thread. The belt is made in Morocco.
