Italian wool, Made in Morocco

Le pull col rond naît au début du XXe siècle comme sous-vêtement marin ou ouvrier, pour isoler du froid humide sans entraver les mouvements. Porté sous la vareuse ou seul, il privilégiait chaleur et séchage rapide face aux intempéries ; vite adopté en civil pour sa simplicité polyvalente.

Tricoté en lambswool – laine de la première tonte d’agneau italien –, la fibre fine (environ 19 microns) donne une maille souple et dense, sans démangeaison. La côte 1x1 structure col et poignets pour un maintien élastique ; fully fashioned, les coutures sont façonnées sans jointure visible, pour une tenue stable qui s’étire puis reprend sa forme. La chaleur vient de la lanoline naturelle, le tissu respire et vieillit en se feutrant légèrement aux zones de frottement.

Sa coupe droite enveloppe sans comprimer : poitrine large (52 à 62 cm à plat), longueur dos 64 à 75 cm. Le tombé suit le corps, le rouge bordeaux pose une couleur profonde ; il superpose ou s’isole, confortable en mi-saison comme en hiver.

Mode d'entretien

Lavez à la main à l'eau froide avec un détergent doux pour laine. Évitez de tordre ou d'essorer. Séchez à plat à l'ombre. Repassez à basse température avec un tissu entre le fer et le vêtement.

Our clothes are made from exceptional materials—Japanese selvedge denim, French wool from Tournier, etc.—and assembled in our workshop in Toulouse on traditional machines.

Each piece is designed to last, evolve, and develop a patina over time. The fabrics are custom-developed: we design our own wefts, then have them woven in the world's best factories (Japan, France, Italy, Portugal, Morocco), often on antique looms. This process can take up to a year to create a new fabric.

It is this level of requirement that makes Champ de Manoeuvres unique and of high quality.

Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping costs are automatically calculated when you place your order. Delivery is free in France and Belgium for orders over €150, in Europe for orders over €300, and worldwide for orders over €400.
