Blue chinos for men, washed like workwear
The Hydron model takes the construction of our Slack chino, designed to marry tailoring and workwear, in a washed cotton cloth. The gabardine, in a dense diagonal weave, holds the leg while staying supple; the wash gives it at once the look of trousers that have already been worn. These men's blue chinos are not jeans: they have the colour, but the smoother hand of a gabardine and the finishing of dress trousers.

Cut and sizing
Modern cut, roomy at the thigh and tapered at the ankle. From 28 to 38, the half thigh runs from 30.5 to 34.5 cm and the half opening from 16.75 to 18.5 cm; in size 32: 43 cm half waist, 32.5 cm half thigh, 17.5 cm half opening. This model runs large: take one size below your usual size.
How to wear blue chinos for men
With a white T-shirt and sneakers, the leg rolled, as in our photos. With a white oxford shirt and an ecru henley underneath for mid-season. Avoid pairing with a denim of the same shade: an OG 107 overshirt or an ecru sweater brings out the blue better.
Care
Machine washable at home: 30 °C (86 °F) inside out, short cycle, mild detergent with no bleaching agent, and separately the first few times, because dyed cotton bleeds slightly. No tumble dryer and no fabric softener. Air dry in the shade; iron at medium heat, on the reverse.
A work blue, already lived-in
The wash brings a shaded patina that recalls work blues worn for a long time. Worn with a simple white T-shirt, as in our photos by the dunes, it stands on its own. The shade has been worked to stay stable through washing.

It is the trouser for the days when jeans are too casual and suit trousers too serious. It goes from the office to the terrace without changing outfit. One trouser, two worlds.
Slant pockets, tailor's waistband
On the front, two slant pockets. At the back, two welt pockets closed with a corozo button and stopped with a D-shaped stitch that reinforces their edges and bottom. Inside, the waistband and the crotch are lined with 100% cotton Italian herringbone, so they do not lose shape. A double fly placket holds the fly, which closes on a YKK zip.
Black thread, zigzag label
The trousers are assembled with black Coats thread, and the seams stay visible at the bottom of the leg when you roll it. The corozo buttons, a vegetable ivory, are sewn twice. The main label is attached with a zigzag stitch, as on work clothes. The chino is made in Portugal.
