Born as US Navy underwear in 1913, then adopted by the army during the World Wars, the t-shirt met a clear need: to absorb sweat, be easy to wash, and fit under a uniform without hindering movement. Initially strictly utilitarian, it emerged around 1930 as an outer garment, worn by workers and popularized by cinema before entering everyday civilian wardrobes.

The 220 gsm 1x1 ribbed jersey, made of pure mercerized cotton, offers a smooth and dense surface that breathes without feeling heavy. This treatment strengthens the fiber, limits pilling, and stabilizes the shape through washing, while the 2.5 cm bias-cut collar and closely spaced coverstitch seams ensure a neat and solid fit.

Its fitted cut drapes without excess, with ease at the shoulders that follows the body. Worn alone or tucked in, it complements summer wear with a clean presence, true to its functional heritage.

Our clothes are made from exceptional materials—Japanese selvedge denim, French wool from Tournier, etc.—and assembled in our workshop in Toulouse on traditional machines.

Each piece is designed to last, evolve, and develop a patina over time. The fabrics are custom-developed: we design our own wefts, then have them woven in the world's best factories (Japan, France, Italy, Portugal, Morocco), often on antique looms. This process can take up to a year to create a new fabric.

It is this level of requirement that makes Champ de Manoeuvres unique and of high quality.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping costs are automatically calculated when you place your order. Delivery is free in France and Belgium for orders over €150, in Europe for orders over €300, and worldwide for orders over €400.

What are the delivery times?

Delivery times vary depending on the destination: 2 to 5 business days in France, 2 to 8 days in Europe, and up to 16 days for the rest of the world. You will receive a tracking link as soon as the order is shipped.

Can I return or exchange an item if the size doesn't fit?

Of course! Returns and exchanges are free in France and Belgium for all orders over €150. You have 14 days to try on your items at home and return them if necessary.
