The khaki moleskin jacket, between uniform and workshop
This khaki moleskin jacket brings together two traditions that have almost never crossed: olive drab, the shade of American military clothing, and moleskin, the cloth of French workwear. The result belongs fully to neither. It is a workshop jacket in a field colour, keeping from both worlds what is most useful: strength and restraint.

How to wear a khaki moleskin jacket

A 420 g/m² moleskin
Moleskin is a very tightly woven cotton cloth in a satin weave, with a short, soft surface, present in French workshops since the 19th century. Ours weighs 420 g/m², about 14 oz. It is stiff for the first few days, then softens and takes the shape of your shoulders. On a muted olive the patina stays discreet: unlike the sand, this jacket keeps its original look for a long time.
Buttons that stand out
The corozo buttons, a vegetable ivory, contrast against the green. On the front, a chest pocket and two large lower pockets, wide enough for a notebook; inside, an inner pocket for the essentials. It is assembled on an off-the-arm machine, and the jacket is made entirely in France, from weaving to buttons.
