Description

A carrot cut, slightly wide at the thighs, puffed para pockets, closed with a flap and two natural corozo buttons on each side. We have developed a finish to hide the button and facilitate opening and closing, without ever showing the button.
Always take a larger size, because this product has a fitted fit.

At the end of the 19th century, US soldiers wore khaki pants. The first version of cargo pants made its mark during the Spanish-American War. Like jeans in their early days, they are a real work garment that is both sturdy and inexpensive. The inspiration is military, the term BDU, Battle Dress Uniform, refers to the American combat pants of the 80s. Here they are brought up to date, CDM style and pacified for fashionable urban use.

NEO VINTAGE CARGO

Originally military clothing, chinos and cargo pants have become staples of an "Ivy" style wardrobe, a preppy student style born in the United States.
The problem with vintage cargo and chinos is that they have a straight, loose and puffy cut. Originally, they were worn tucked into high boots; hence the presence of the lace towards the hem to tighten it. However, this cut displeases some people: so we wanted to make a few modifications to it. We tapered it and tightened it towards the bottom to suit as many body types as possible.

HOW TO WEAR IT?

There are a thousand ways to wear cargo pants. However, they are best worn with functional pieces or utility jackets, such as work jackets, for example, with patterned knitwear or cable-knit wool sweaters, with military-style t-shirts: the combination is then perfect. It's a winning combination. As for the bottom, with paraboots - a brand that we love - or especially sneakers. Fans of the latter will be able to find a detail hidden under the hem once rolled up, which will undoubtedly enhance your outfit and even refine your silhouette.

EYE FOR AN EYE

Under the hem once rolled up, which will undoubtedly enhance your outfit and even refine your silhouette. We have sewn two buttonholes for the lace passage; they are functional if ever.

A LOOK OF TECHWEAR

The first chinos were dyed in India with blackberry juice, which gives greenish and khaki hues. Moreover, a rendering close to khaki was able to camouflage the soldiers of the British army with the targeted environment. As for ours, it is not blackberry juice at all. However, it is indeed khaki, navy-indigo and black, which we have aged to obtain a vintage patina on each piece. In addition, we have added a waterproofing treatment against light showers or stains.

THE BDU IS HIS POCKETS

There are three different types of buttoning for the BDU: Velcro, which is the least expensive finish; metal snap; four-hole sewn buttons, which can be found in several military wardrobes. In some versions, you can only see a stop stitch on both ends, which is more economical. Our pants, in addition to their corozo buttoning keeping the blown volume like a real military pocket, also have a double tab to hide the button, and thus facilitate the unbuttoning of the pocket on the thighs and back. On the left leg, we have placed a small pocket to slip your smartphone or more if you like.

ECO WASH

The canvas material is specially designed for this bdu, which looks like a ninja pant. We added 4% wool for more warmth in winter, this mixture bringing softness to the fiber. After which, we aged the pants, to winnow them, added abrasions on the tops of the pockets and whiskers on the thighs using a laser. The stone wash is done with ozone, an ecological treatment, without chemicals in Morocco. Discover the process we used for pants.

MILITARY SURPLUS

These pants have undergone a surface treatment in order to waterproof the material. However, remember that it is neither nylon nor polyester. The latter helps the material to be water-repellent; this is not eternal, the effect fades over time and with washing. Designed and adapted for urban use, the cut is perfectly thought out to suit the greatest number of you, especially thanks to its cut half-chinese , half-parra .

By the way, we added a tightening tab to adjust it in case you have opted for a larger size – if that is the style you are looking for. The opening is tapered and stopped at 17.5 cm: the idea is to reproduce the same pattern of real pants bought, in a surplus that you take to be resized at the local tailor. This is the aim of this maneuver .
