Navy collared T-shirt

The crew-neck t-shirt emerged in the 19th century as an undergarment for sailors and laborers, designed to absorb sweat and protect against the cold without restricting movement. Deriving from Royal Navy knitwear or the French marinière, it was adopted by the US Army in 1913. Popularized for civilian wear by Hollywood in the 1950s, it transitioned from workwear to an everyday essential.

Knitted in Portugal from 100% cotton jersey with a 240 gsm density, ensuring opacity and shape retention, it features a 1x1 rib knit for controlled elasticity. The 2cm rounded collar, triple-layered and double-stitched, prevents rolling. A flat shoulder yoke and 4-thread chainette overlocking protect against irritation and twisting. Pre-washed for a soft, vintage feel, it maintains its shape wash after wash.

Its fitted cut, shaped at the shoulders (chest 52 to 62 cm), falls straight without excess: length 72 to 76 cm. The natural off-white can be worn alone or under a sweater, allows free movement, and adapts to the body in any season.

What is the quality of Champ de Manœuvres products?

Our clothes are made from exceptional materials—Japanese selvedge denim, French wool from Tournier, etc.—and assembled in our workshop in Toulouse on traditional machines.

Each piece is designed to last, evolve, and develop a patina over time. The fabrics are custom-developed: we design our own wefts, then have them woven in the world's best factories (Japan, France, Italy, Portugal, Morocco), often on antique looms. This process can take up to a year to create a new fabric.

It is this level of requirement that makes Champ de Manoeuvres unique and of high quality.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping costs are automatically calculated when you place your order. Delivery is free in France and Belgium for orders over €150, in Europe for orders over €300, and worldwide for orders over €400.

What are the delivery times?

Delivery times vary depending on the destination: 2 to 5 business days in France, 2 to 8 days in Europe, and up to 16 days for the rest of the world. You will receive a tracking link as soon as the order is shipped.

Can I return or exchange an item if the size doesn't fit?

Of course! Returns and exchanges are free in France and Belgium for all orders over €150. You have 14 days to try on your items at home and return them if necessary.
