IT'S IN THE DETAIL

The assembly is very sturdy, made with a sidearm machine in chain stitch. The armhole is topstitched with double needles in a class 301 lockstitch, clean from the inside as well as the outside. Our branded metal button and its rivet are matte platinum in color. We chose metal buttons to avoid surprises from repetitive unbuttoning, we wanted to offer a solid product that will last as long as possible.

As cooler weather approaches, we'll also love wearing it closed like a thick shirt or as a lining under a coat. It therefore has multiple uses, and its versatility gives it an undeniable appeal, reinventing itself with each season.

Please note that this beautiful overshirt has been washed to make the material vintage and pleasant to the touch. This means we're offering you a product that's already washed and ready to be worn without moderation.

Its collar, meanwhile, can be worn open to match the style of a blazer jacket or straight to resemble a classic shirt collar or that of a work jacket.

Likewise, it can, for example, be worn open and perfectly complement a jacket for mid-season.

What is the quality of Champ de Manœuvres products?

Our clothes are made from exceptional materials—Japanese selvedge denim, French wool from Tournier, etc.—and assembled in our workshop in Toulouse on traditional machines.

Each piece is designed to last, evolve, and develop a patina over time. The fabrics are custom-developed: we design our own wefts, then have them woven in the world's best factories (Japan, France, Italy, Portugal, Morocco), often on antique looms. This process can take up to a year to create a new fabric.

It is this level of requirement that makes Champ de Manoeuvres unique and of high quality.
