In wool, black holds badly: it fades, greys at the elbows and ends up looking tired. The men's anthracite sweater accepts from the start a slightly veiled depth, and so ages better, because it has nothing to lose. Under artificial light, it looks almost black; in daylight, it is closer to charcoal than to ash.

How to wear a men's anthracite sweater
Under a work jacket: anthracite structures the chest without weighing it down, with a moleskin jacket for example. Over a white oxford shirt, collar out: the simplest way to dress a sweater. On its own, against the skin, with black jeans.

A wool that doesn't itch
The wool comes from the lamb's first clip, spun in Italy: the finest and softest fibre. It doesn't itch at the neck, where an adult wool quickly reminds you of itself, and the sweater can be worn against the skin. The collar is set in 1×1 rib in the same material, which avoids the break of attached collars; the cuffs and hem are finished in integrated ribbed edges, which recover their shape instead of gaping. The sleeves are raglan, and the sweater is knitted in Morocco in fully fashioned.
