Ergo Card Holder

The leather cardholder originated as a practical accessory for sailors and merchants in the 18th and 19th centuries, used to store banknotes and papers without cluttering work pockets. Vegetable-tanned to resist salty humidity and daily handling, it has adapted to modern civilian uses while maintaining its functional simplicity.

Made from vegetable-tanned cowhide, hand-dyed piece by piece in Morocco according to REACH standards, the leather is alive: supple from the start, it absorbs oils and friction to develop a deep patina, molding to the inserted cards without cracking. Artisanally assembled on a triple-feed machine (feed dog, presser foot, needle), strong seams prevent deformation; thick 100% nylon thread, as resistant as in heavy leather goods, secures the edges without breaking.

Its compact shape is ready for wear: after five years of daily use, it retains its rigidity while personalizing its shade and curve. Slip in cards and banknotes; it follows in your pocket without bulk, unique from your touch.

What is the quality of Champ de Manœuvres products?

Our clothes are made from exceptional materials—Japanese selvedge denim, French wool from Tournier, etc.—and assembled in our workshop in Toulouse on traditional machines.

Each piece is designed to last, evolve, and develop a patina over time. The fabrics are custom-developed: we design our own wefts, then have them woven in the world's best factories (Japan, France, Italy, Portugal, Morocco), often on antique looms. This process can take up to a year to create a new fabric.

It is this level of requirement that makes Champ de Manoeuvres unique and of high quality.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping costs are automatically calculated when you place your order. Delivery is free in France and Belgium for orders over €150, in Europe for orders over €300, and worldwide for orders over €400.

What are the delivery times?

Delivery times vary depending on the destination: 2 to 5 business days in France, 2 to 8 days in Europe, and up to 16 days for the rest of the world. You will receive a tracking link as soon as the order is shipped.

Of course! Returns and exchanges are free in France and Belgium for all orders over €150. You have 14 days to try on your items at home and return them if necessary.
