Vincent, our model, wore our military jacket in size L. In the first version of this model, the buttons were made of metal. We have since replaced them with corozo, which gives it a unique style. Pumpkin and ivory colored cat's eye buttons for the chest.

Overshirt the worker

The military denim overshirt was born in the mid-20th century as a utility jacket for the US army, cut from thick twill to protect aviators and soldiers from cold and abrasion in the field. Inspired by surplus models (such as the Baldwin or OG-107), it withstood harsh washes and demanding tasks; adopted by civilians, it established itself as a versatile overshirt.

Woven in 3x1 100% cotton twill, indigo-dyed after assembly for a deep patina, mechanically distressed in France for a unique vintage effect on each piece. Handcrafted in Toulouse, each item varies; reinforced chest pockets, sturdy seams, and hand-finished details prevent premature wear.

Its loose fit (1/2 chest 54-57 cm), length 72-73 cm, drapes freely: sleeves 61-62 cm move without restriction. Worn open or buttoned, it layers over a t-shirt, breathes well in mid-season, and gains character with each wear.

What is the quality of Champ de Manœuvres products?

Our clothes are made from exceptional materials—Japanese selvedge denim, French wool from Tournier, etc.—and assembled in our workshop in Toulouse on traditional machines.

Each piece is designed to last, evolve, and develop a patina over time. The fabrics are custom-developed: we design our own wefts, then have them woven in the world's best factories (Japan, France, Italy, Portugal, Morocco), often on antique looms. This process can take up to a year to create a new fabric.

It is this level of requirement that makes Champ de Manoeuvres unique and of high quality.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping costs are automatically calculated when you place your order. Delivery is free in France and Belgium for orders over €150, in Europe for orders over €300, and worldwide for orders over €400.

What are the delivery times?

Delivery times vary depending on the destination: 2 to 5 business days in France, 2 to 8 days in Europe, and up to 16 days for the rest of the world. You will receive a tracking link as soon as the order is shipped.

Can I return or exchange an item if the size doesn't fit?

Of course! Returns and exchanges are free in France and Belgium for all orders over €150. You have 14 days to try on your items at home and return them if necessary.
