Description
The heritage t-shirt had its heyday during World War I, as the United States Army used it to make up the soldier's uniform. Then, it became democratized by being the underwear par excellence.
Initially used by the army, then by the idols of the time like Steve McQueen, or Marlon Brando.
220 Grms Pure Cotton
One-to-one jersey weave weighing 220 g, 100% cotton yarn of very good quality, made especially for CDM
Cotton being mercerized allows for a smooth and clean appearance without peeling wash after wash.
The assembly is very sturdy, the decorative seams reinforce the assembly of each piece. Here the collar is assembled into a 2.5 cm collar, a heritage finish and very solid.
The seams are covered with small spacing and hold up better than normal stitching.
The collar is slightly indented to avoid discomfort, we wanted to give it more opening to avoid too tight collars.
The curve of the collar is perfect for us, just what is needed to be comfortable, we made the collar at an old-fashioned angle, with a width of 25 mm finished.
After washing, the collar shrinks slightly to fit you forever, a treat.
Mercerized Cotton
The mercerized cotton process was designed in 1844 by John Mercer who had the idea of treating cotton fibers with caustic soda .
The main improvement was to keep the textile stretched during operation to prevent shrinkage.
This stretching phase could also be carried out while the ribbons
were still damp. He also added a water rinsing step.
It doesn't matter what your body type is if you take your usual size.
It will always bring a little "we don't know what" to your outfit which will never give the impression of wearing a bag of 'parmentières'.
A drape in this magnificent natural material will hardly crease while still letting you breathe.

Our measurement table
"Please measure half the chest circumference from edge to edge. Also, the front length is the distance from the shoulder point to the bottom of the garment. For the sleeve length, measure the longest distance at the middle of the sleeve. For pants, measure the half waistband from edge to edge, making sure that the two ends of the waistband overlap. The half thigh width is the longest measurement at the crotch seam. Measure half the hem height (from edge to edge) flat."
