Here's our tool to protect the top of your head and the tips of your ears from the winter cold. We've relaunched our famous Angora Wool Beanie and are taking this opportunity to offer new colors.
Essential when the first chills of autumn arrive, threatening to freeze our heads. We designed it as a durable product, meant to last as long as possible and become indispensable. Often a symbol of protest, the beanie is surely the oldest of headwear, its popularity enduring through the ages. Whether the temperatures are below freezing or milder, our beanie will keep you warm in style. Its lambswool blend with angora will offer your head the cozy respite it craves when the air turns chilly.
High-quality angora for exceptional comfort
But angora isn't something you find every day at CDM ; this precious material was selected to offer the very best for your head. It's certified "Caregora, " a label guaranteeing the well-being of the rabbit, here issued by the British DEFRA. No fur is pulled out, ensuring the soft, velvety feel of angora. It brings shine, softness, and a silky feel with its captivating, angel-like fibers. This blend is natural and breathable, so you'll never be too hot or sweaty. This mix combines the best of both worlds: insulation, softness, lightness, and warmth, making this hat a perfect companion for much of the year.
Scottish Crafts
This haven of softness comes to us from the United Kingdom, more precisely from the northernmost country of Great Britain. Renowned for centuries for its respect for the finest materials, Scotland produces magnificent woolens from local sheep. It was only natural for us to continue this production in the land of Albion. Woven on time-honored hand-operated machines, there is no waste of this sublime fabric. Made using the fully-fashioned method, meaning knitted in one piece, there is no cutting or waste.
Colors That Speak
Everything is done on-site, and you'll only find this level of attention to detail among the most prestigious brands in the world. Firecracker orange is a true favorite, creating a striking chromatic contrast with the military aesthetic; its deep dye will enhance any khaki outfit. Tango red symbolizes the rebellion or passion that drives us throughout history. Phrygian or Breton, ask Mariane.
When laid flat, we have 28 cm in height and 24 cm in width.
A Variety of Styles, A Beanie for Everyone
From the most formal to the most casual, outdoors or indoors in a workshop, casual or urban, you'll be stylishly covered. It's with this in mind that we designed this essential menswear piece with our workwear spirit. It's breathable and traps fresh air to keep you warm thanks to its thermoregulating properties. Its natural elasticity allows it to adapt to all styles and body shapes (if the lady wants one too...).

We are here to help you
Find here the answers to the most frequently asked questions to help you choose with confidence.
Our clothes are made from exceptional materials—Japanese selvedge denim, French wool from Tournier, etc.—and assembled in our workshop in Toulouse on traditional machines.
Each piece is designed to last, evolve, and develop a patina over time. The fabrics are custom-developed: we design our own wefts, then have them woven in the world's best factories (Japan, France, Italy, Portugal, Morocco), often on antique looms. This process can take up to a year to create a new fabric.
It is this level of requirement that makes Champ de Manoeuvres unique and of high quality.
