This chambray scarf keeps all of its character: the indigo of workwear, without the stiffness of a heavy cloth.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eA Collect Mills cloth\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe cloth comes from Japan, from the weaving house Collect Mills. It is a 100% cotton indigo chambray with an even colour, whose heathering shows up close and disappears at a distance. We chose it for that fineness: on a scarf, which is knotted, creased and worn against the skin, the quality of the weave shows immediately.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eCut and washed in Toulouse\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe scarf is cut and made in our Toulouse workshop, then washed after making. The cloth has already shrunk and softened, so it drapes loosely from the first wear instead of staying stiff like new chambray. At about two metres long and 50 cm wide, it works as a tight double wrap or worn open over the shoulders.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eDimensions\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAbout 2 metres long by 50 cm wide (79 by 20 in), in 100% cotton indigo chambray.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eHow to wear a chambray scarf\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWrapped twice and tight at the neck, it replaces a scarf in mid-season. Thrown open over the shoulders, under a \u003ca href=\"\/en-us\/collections\/homme-vestes-de-travail\"\u003ework jacket\u003c\/a\u003e. Tied short in the collar of a shirt or over a \u003ca href=\"\/en-us\/products\/t-shirt-colletage-navy\"\u003enavy T-shirt\u003c\/a\u003e, like a workshop neckerchief. It is a cotton scarf: it cuts the wind, but it does not replace a \u003ca href=\"\/en-us\/products\/echarpe-laine-gris-mouchete\"\u003ewool scarf\u003c\/a\u003e in January.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eCare\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eWash it as rarely as possible and air it between wears.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eWhen needed, 30 °C (86 °F) inside out, short cycle, mild detergent with no bleaching agent, and separately for the first few washes, because indigo naturally bleeds.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eNo tumble dryer: air dry in the shade.
