Inspired by the US Army M51. We wanted to give it a modern and urban touch. The term fishtail refers to the lower back of the parka, which represents an adjustable slit with a lace in the shape of a fishtail.

Composition: 100% cotton for the body, vest in 100% wool

Made in France

This is the city parka par excellence, made in a French-made moleskin fabric weighing 420 g/m². Our parka is fully lined and has a removable waistcoat in 100% lambswool cloth weighing 590 g/m² from Portugal. Unlike ours, the original model features a quilted nylon vest.

THE HANGING DETAIL

We wanted to reinterpret this liner in our own way, choosing only natural materials. For this, we chose an anthracite black wool, and we put pockets on each side of the liner. The latter can be worn alone as a vest.

PROTECTIVE VISOR

A visor protects against rain, the hood is adjustable thanks in particular to two corozo buttons on each side that have been placed + two buttonholes to adjust it to your liking.

ADJUSTABLE HOODED LACE

Front flap pockets. Hidden button placket and double lace buttoning to adjust the hood. Straight cut for maximum comfort, fitted sleeves with a tightening tab, back slit for greater mobility. Designed for intensive, daily use.

MOD CULTURE

The M51 Parka, in its original version, was created to equip American soldiers during the Korean War, and has since passed on our shoulders, an iconic model in the UK among the modernists or MODS . A subculture that originated in London in the late 1950s and reached its peak in the UK in the middle of the following decade. To finish in our workshop and manufacture it entirely in France and to prove that the made in France is possible, regardless of the model. This is also our parade ground
